Could someone please give me an overview of the following conductors. I
found a few of them listed in Who's Who in Music, but I didn't mark which
ones I didn't find. So the entire list is--
Leon Fleisher
John Nelson
Oliver Knussen
Robert Spano
Reinbert de Leeuw

I am trying to get a little bit of insight by those clarinetists who have
worked with any of these people to see what they thought of them, what
pieces they conduct well, etc. Then again, any insight at all would be
great.

And as long as I'm at it. Who are the following musicians and what role
do they play in chamber music these days. . .

Joel Smirnoff
Joel Krosnick
Norman Fischer
Bonnie Hampton
William Purvis
Gilbert Kalish
