The only markings say, "Josef Glass" and "Graslitz" underneath it.....
If anyone can give me an idea about this horn, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
in advance. Pete <<<<<<<<<

Pete: Do me a small favor. Don't refer to a instrument as a "horn".
Affectionate, but not very helpful. Unless that is the only thing you
know to say about the instrument.

The New Langwill Index has a short listing:

Glassl, Josef BI fl Graslitz 1898-p1937.
1898 established; 1937 still active.

I interpret this to mean that Mr. Glassl (Glass?) was a brass instrument
maker in Graslitz (Czech Republic) and was still active till after or around
1937.

The two people who could tell you would probably be
Dr. Margeret Banks, Curator of the Shrine to Music Museum in South Dakota.
605 677 5306

or

Robb Steward
140 E. Santa Clara Street, #18
Arcadia, CA 91006
818 447-1904

If Robb can't tell you, I doubt anyone could. He knows everything.
Hope this helps.
