I recently aquired a nice disk at a used record store in Los Angeles
called "A Clarinet Celebration" with Emma Johnson accompanied by Gordon
Beck. The CD is from the UK on the Academy Sound and Vision label
catalog CD DCA 732. The disk contains Weber's Grand Duo Concertant Op.
48 and Variations Op. 33. In addition she renders a nice performance
of the Schumann Fantasy Pieces. Also included are works by Giampieri,
and Lovreglio. The highlight of the album is the Duo for Clarinet and
Piano by Norbert Burgmuller. This is the only recording I have seen of
this rarely performed work.

I also heard on the radio part of a new disk with Sabina Meyer and her
brother along with Eddie Daniels. I haven't been able to find it yet
though. Does anyone know any more about this disk?
