Subj: Going to Univ. of Oklahoma Clarinet Symposium June 2,3,4?
Date: Tue, 28 Mar 1995 12:36:03 -0500

Hi folks!

I have a rather unusual request. I'm wondering if there is a clarinet
player out there who is planning on attending the Clarinet Symposium at
the University of Oklahoma, who would like to split the cost of a motel
room. I'm a student at Iowa State University , and have been down there in
'93 with a large group (i.e. about 6 or 7), so sharing costs was easy,
but it looks like there is NOBODY else going down there this yarear from ISU,
except myself.

At this point, I'm trying to keep costs as small as possible, since I'll
be down there for about a week after the Symposium (going down to Texas,
that is) to visit friends, and attend my roommates wedding the next weekend.
I've got the motel room reserved for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights,
June 1 through 3 (checkout is Sunday), at the Thunderbird Motel. Total
"unsplit" cost will run about $120. There are two beds in the room as
well (and if two people are interested, I'd even take the floor!).

I know this is a sort of unusual request, but I'm the typical "poor
starving college student" :) Let me know if you are interested. Oh,
by the way, the Thunderbird Motel is the cheaper of the two in Norman,
Oklahoma. There is apool (oops...) that is, a pool, shuttle service to
the evening concerts on campous, or wherever they are, and the rooms are
air conditioned.

E-mail me if you're interested! s1tal@-----.edu
