Another vote for the Festival line.

I switched from Buffet R13s approx. four years ago. In choosing a new horn I
stuck mainly with the models Buffet put out -- i.e. R13, Festival, Prestige
(avoiding the Elite on my teacher's recommendation). Out of all of them the
Festivals had more "ping", if you will, to the sound in all registers, as well
as other plusses. Supposedly the Prestige is the more advanced (?) model and
I've heard from others that Festival was touted as a jazz clarinet. Disclaimer
-- this may be an isolated incident so a generality that Festivals are terrific
over any other model is dangerous (especially on this list! :) ).

The added "extra" eb/ab key is nice -- but I rarely used it. I took it off
actually just this year -- I guess that could be another selling point,
"Features removable eb/ab key!"
