I own both a R 13 and a Yamaha 72.
Here is my comparison:
The Buffet has a great sound yet questionable intonation. The sound makes up
for it.
The Yamaha is less brilliant in sound quality yet the intonation is better.
Except for D E Eb and F on the bottom of the staff as they tend to be flat
and even opening keys doesn't help.
For a nice full sound with brilliance and definition I would choose the
Buffet.
For a student who is a little strapped for $ you might have to settle for a
Yamaha unless a used Buffet is within reach.

This is just my own feeling.
You guys who know me better not laugh.
