In an earlier note, Lynn Thomas provided the information that a product
closely resembling "lip ease" is available from Fisher Scientific under
the name of "parfilm". I just called and ordered a roll. Because I've
found that the "lip ease" which is 2" wide is not quite as wide as I would
prefer, I ordered the 4" wide roll rather than the 2" wide, as this will give
me the option of experimenting with whatever size works best. I also
discovered that Fisher Scientific has offices all over the country, so its
best to consult your local phone directory to find the office closest to
you.

Ordering information is as follows:

#13374-16 - 2"x250' $20.25/roll
#13374-10 - 4"x125' $20.00/roll
4"x250' $34.50/roll

I'll report back on my experience with parafilm. Also, if someone
wants to try but doesn't want to order a whole roll, I'll be glad
to sell samples at $5/inch (I'm looking to purchase a condo in Hawaii :)
