I have to say that this is about the best, most practical suggestion I've seen
so far on the subject of repetitive or time-worn discussions on the List. I've
been doing precisely that - simply deleting the messages without reading them
when I know from the "subject" line that it doesn't hold particular interest
for me. I agree with you, Dan, that subjects should be able to run their
course and that other readers may simply have not gotten around to saying what
they wanted to say. Actually, I got the impression that _you_ would have like
to discontinue the thread on light vs. dark, but now I realize that you were
merely expressing a weariness over the USE of such seemingly ambiguous words,
_NOT_ weariness over the animated _discussion_ of said use. Point well-made
and well-taken.
