Regardless of whether Louis Natkin should be on a real internet
connection, I (who am on a real connection) agree about the large
number of individual postings. It's a little daunting to come in,
open up your emacs window and have 150 messages awaiting you from when
you left it Friday noon.

Question for list maintainer: Is it possible to use majordomo or some
other package to combine the postings into digests, which are then
sent out daily (or as often as necessary)? My experience on other
lists is that the digest form is easier to read, and seems to cut down
on the number of "me too" postings while not reducing timeliness or
quality of discussions. Although I'm not an expert in the area of
list maintenance, I'm willing to help out however I can. (I'd offer
to run the list off my machine except I'm not sure my employer would
allow me to do so. I can check on this.)
