Two pieces immediately come to mind, and I'm sure there are many others:
Olivier Messaien, "Abyss of the Birds" from Quartet for the End of Time, and
The first piece from Stravinsky's three pieces. Oh, yes. Wilson Osbourne
Rhapsodie might fit the bill.
