Judging from the responses I've received, would I be correct in assuming
that improving my sax skills would be a good idea if I were to hope for a
military band job? My only sax experience has been in woodwind methods
class, about 2 weeks on alto sax, after which I played bari sax in the
pep band here for 2 basketball seasons and one football season (quit
because of other commitments). Yep, find a tenor, learn the thing, and
get some jazz experience, of which I have none outside of attending one
jazz band concert here freshman year!

Thanks for all the responses, they've been very helpful!
