Hi-

I wanted to thank all of you who responded with suggestions for lip
protection. I am flabbergasted at the variety of substances we will
actually put in our mouths.

And special thanks to the person who pointed out the inappropriate use of
the word, "prosthetics." in this context. My excuse is that lip protection
could be considered a replacement, in my case, for an actual clarinet
embouchure.;-))))

I and my students look forward to trying your suggestions. (My students
need it only because band music is bloody relentless for clarinets, and
our band directer thinks loooooonnnnng concerts are cool - I need it
because I'm old!)

Thanks again.
