I use tenor sax reeds on my setup (Selmer low C bass, Selmer C*
mouthpiece, stock ligature) and love 'em to death. The first time I put
on a tenor sax reed, I got the HUGEST sound I'd ever had on a bass!

Which TS reeds are you using with your BC? I've used the Hemke and they are
really great! I just started using the Selmer C* and the combination
couldn't be better. I'm experimenting with Vandoren TS and bass reeds next
month to see if there is any need to change.
(But I found the secret to a big BC sound was serving time on the stairmaster
3x a week....)
