William,

I find that alto sax reeds work better on alto clarinet than alto clar
reeds. I had to play the stuffy thing for a few semesters in clarinet
choir. Needless to say, I'm retired from that horn, and working on the
lower ones.

I have not decided if tenor sax reeds work better than bass clar reeds,
though. They both act the same. Is there even a difference in production?
