Queen Emma seems to play the last movement at an amazing speed in her
recording. It is supposed to be a "polacca", meaning a polonaise or its
forerunner, and it loses this character if played too fast. At least one of the
Spohr concerti (I forget which) also has a last movement of this type.

[I conk out very soon on hitting that section with the triplets - I can't
concentrate hard enough, even though at at a beat of 100 / min. they are
