Pauline,

The work you refer to is a ballet suite entitled,
"Afternoon Cakewalk." When I performed it in 1987, it was available only
on rental from Presser. However, I was recently informed by Christopher
Zello that the suite is now is now being sold by Presser.

Of possible additional interest, the composition was one of
several works discussed in an article entitled, "Unusual Instrumental
Works by Bolcom and Ponchielli," that I had written for the
February/March 1990 issue of "The Clarinet."
