Fred,

It was good hearing from you again.

I presume that the Divertissement you referred to was "Il Convegno"
and that you performed it with piano accompaniment. You may be interested to
know that there is also a string-orchestra-accompaniment version and two
concert-band-accompaniment versions. (I have performed it with piano,
strings, and a recent band transcription. In addition, Christopher Zello has
been doing some detective work in an effort to locate the original Ponchielli
scoring for band, which is sitting in a library in Rome.)

Regarding the Erland von Koch "Monolog nr. 3," you may have
noticed a message posted on Wednesday, February 22nd by Michael Galvan,
which supports your high opinion of the composition.

The publisher for the Csaba Deak "Sonatina" is A.B. Nordiska
Musikforlaget, Stockholm. I am indebted to Tomas Andreason of Tyreso,
Sweden for sending me the music.

Please let me know if you need any help in getting the piece.

Best regards,

Connie
