To those that may be interested, here are the main schools that have
Musical
Instrument Technology Courses:

Western Iowa Tech Community College
P.O. Box 265
Sioux City, Iowa 51102
(712) 274-6400

Red Wing Technical College
Highway 58 at Pioneer Road
Red Wing, Minnesota 55066
(612) 388-8271

Five Towns College
305 North Service Road
Dix Hills, New York 11746
(516) 424-7000, ext. 110

There are many other piano or stringed instrument courses available.
These
are the ones that have brass & woodwind courses as well.

Allied Music has dropped their school. It was a 48 week OJT, very
intensive
course. Cost $6000.

For the most current nationwide information:
National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians
(NAPBIRT)
P.O. Box 51
Normal, IL 61761
(309) 452-4257 Fax (309) 452-4825 Contact: Chuck Hagler

I hope this helps.

Good luck, and let me know if I can be of anymore help.
