Subj: Mouthpiece blown pitch

I had this discussiom with Charlie Bay one summer. The blown pitch of a
Bb clarinet mouthpiece ahould be approximately sounding "C". With my
mouthpiece I play about "C" + 20 cents At A@-----. Charlie does a lot of
teaching and he mentioned that in all cases where students were always
"sharp" they invariably voiced C#.
