I just had the same trill for Mahler's fourth symphony. I used the third
side key. So that's the normal fingering for b then just add the third
side key to trill with. On my horn (Yamaha 72) it works great and is
very well in tune. Hope this helps!

p.s. depending on how fast/long you have to hold this trill, you might
try using just the first finger (no thumb) to trill to from the b. So,
play b, then just remove the thumb for c#. I seem to remember that it's
a *touch* flat on my horn, but it works.
