There have been some good suggestions here and some that I didn't know
about- I was going to recommend the Gordon Jacob. But actually I think
your best bet would be _17 Classical Solos_ ,edited by Pamela Weston, pub.
by Fentone.This has several good possibilities, and you could choose three
or four short, contrasting pieces.

And while I was typing that paragraph, the latest suggestion from Justin
O'Dell came in: the _Studio Primo_ by Donizetti. I've played that one too-
it's quite enjoyable if you like "noodles". IMHO, it should be played
faster than humanly possible for best effect...
