Clark,
I'm wondering...I just recently cracked my Buffett R-13. It is
about two years old, with most of the playing being done this last year.
I also cracked my previous R-13 after about two years as well. I have a
Yamaha 72A CS with a lot of mileage but no cracks (about 5 years old). I
too think that it's not a coincidence that I've now cracked two horns. I
also notice that I ruin pads a lot faster than practically everyone else
in the world. I don't drink coffee, eat candy, smoke or any of the other
culprits. Is there a connection between people who crack instruments and
also wear out pads????? Do I have the dreaded breath of death????
