Actually, Chris, the comment about the organ was contributed as a
commentary to my mention of Lawrence, and I can't take credit for that
information. I'm not surprised that the Chapel is falling apart -- it is
an old building, and has needed renovation. I think the new organ is
part of that plan.
If the parent who started this topic asking about possible places to
major in music and education is still reading these messages, it may be
worthwhile to note that Lawrence just built a new music building
connecting the Chapel with the old music building. I visited a couple
years ago at reunion time, and it is beautifully designed, with lots of
bells and whistles (in more than one sense of the word). I sure wish it
was there when I was a student!
