Good point! The sonatas are an equal partnership, and while as
clarinetists it's natural that we would be paying more attention to the
clarinet, the pianist has just as much to say musically.

I wish I had something more interesting to add, but I can only agree with
David's comments as I don't have any other versions at hand to listen to.
I look forward to hearing other peoples' opinionated babblings! ;-)
