(1) NON-LINEARITY!? Jonathan C. didn't seem to say a lot about the acoustic
results of tonguing the reed. Personally, I would welcome some more on this (
even more? Why not - it was well worth reading..).
(2) 18th cent. vibrato (dread word! - as fake newspaper columnist "Wallace
Arnold" would put it) / D. Leeson: Quantz surely must be our man for this - I
wish I had my own copy of his "Versuch ...". Even the German would do.
