Actually the organ you speak of is installed and in place at Lawrance
University at the Chapel there. It takes up a good portion of the back
of the stage. I am under the impression that the Fox Valley SO will be
doing the Poulenc Organ Concerto with the organ professor next year late
in the season (probably in 1996). This will be some type of public
display of the organ for the first time (I think). I only go off of the
information which the business manager tell us in FVSO. One of the
conductor candidates did suggest another organ concerto, so we will see
who gets the job, and that will determine our repertoire.

BTW, did you know that your alma mater just had to get a new roof in the
Chapel was some heating duct fell and knocked some plaster down. This
closed the Chapel all of January. It is finally open again.
