Hi gang,
I think the" pseudo multiverse" problem is fixed. What I did was
unsubscribe my multiverse account from the list (I still don't know what's
wrong with it). I then subscribed through the Cleveland FreeNet a no doubt
way of getting Internet mail. Because, as many of you probably know any
"freenet" system is impossible to log on to, I had all my freenet mail
forwarded to my current ID here at Multiverse.
To make a long story short: If you are still getting error messages when you
send out mail, we have a big problem. I don't know why this would be. I
apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused (although know it looks
as if it may be a listserv problem).
Back to the clarinet....

As it's been nearly a month since I've posted a message, I have much to talk
about. First, I would like to welcome Mr. Jonathan Cohler to the list. I
have listened to his recording of Moonflowers, baby (not to bring up a dead
issue but it was written for Stoltzman) It was nothing short of excellent.
Great recording. I think that all of us on the list are glad to see his
opinions posted. Welcome!!!

Well I can finnally play the Copland Concerto beginning to end! Thanks to
all who helped with the altissimo. I actually learned a easier way to hit
the finnaly high a. It works rather well on my instrument. What I do is
play F# with 2nd finger left hand. G with no fingers and A with the middle
octave a key down. Yes, yes I know it's not the safest way, but until my
embochure gets stronger it'll do.

I've started working on C. Saint-Saens Sonata for Clarinet. It looks semi
interesting. Any suggestions?

I thoroughly enjoyed the discussion on Rhapsody in Blue. There was a great
Lawrence Welk show when Henry Cuesta played clarinet with the band and they
did a tribute to Gershwin. Whoever wrote the very informative message,
thank you!! I'm sorry as I can't remember who it was but it was greatly
appreciated.

What is the situation with Mr. Errante. Has he joined yet. I sent him a
very kind letter asking for his subscribtion to the list (or as the case may
be his activeness) He may already be on just not talking, I'll have to
check the directory. Listserv command is Review Klarinet for those
interested in the directory.

Sincerely,
Michael A. Cassara Cleveland, Ohio
