Thanks for your input.

I can admit I had a stressful week at work, then I had to
rehearse for a concert later in the evening - playing all
four of my clarinets, from e-flat to bass. My lip was quite swollen and
definitely sore -- a challenge to my embouchure!

The first rehearsal was definitely rugged. I brought along an ice pack and
pressed it on my lips during long rests. That helped a little bit.

The swelling subsided a couple of days ago, so I'll be in fine form for the
concert tonight. I'll try the Lysine next time and report back later.
