Chris, one of the longest and most detailed discussion held on the
klarinet list was about vibrato. It must have lasted a month or
more and at least 50 or more notes were submitted.

You should take a look at that discussion by searching the data
base for the word "vibrato." There I am certain you will find lots
to read and think about.

However, as to the contents of your note, while you certainly let us
know how you feel about the use of vibrato (for which I thank you
for sharing with us), you did not give any substantive reasons why
you felt that way, except for saying that you felt that way.

I think every thinking player on this list would find why you felt
a certain way to be helpful information. But without that "why" your
note left an empty spot that needs to be filled with some substance.
