I'm a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. They also offer a
double-degree program (I did it when I was there): B.Mus. from the
Conservatory and B.A. in another subject. They don't offer a major in
education per se, but do make certification available. It's a liberal
arts school, one of several calling themselves "The Harvard of the Midwest".
