This is my favorite Beethoven Sym #8 fingering for the 3rd mvt trio!! It
works well on my Yamaha 72cs, even though my regular G's are OK.

Another great Ab (courtesy of a Stanley Hasty master class) is thumb,
register, first finger RH (that's right, no LH fingers!), Eb pinky. Great
in Ab major arpeggios.

Then there's the soft high E - R, (no thumb), 1,2,3 (LH), Eb pinky. Try
your octave slur on that one (or the 4th line D-E in Joan Tower's Harbor
Lights fantasy)
