I received the nicest letter from F.Gerard Errante (Gerry) who is
President of the International Clarinet Association. He was one of the
many kind people to send me a copy of the Jerry Pierce obit in The Clarinet.

But it turns out the Gerry has an e-mail address. It is:

F-Errante@-----.edu

and I want him threatened by a lot of people on this list. Why has he not
joined it? Are we not good enough for him? Does he refuse to associate
with us because he has a thin tone and is jealous of our combined brilliance?

Is he intimated by our knowledge of reeds, barrels, blown-out clarinets,
repertoire, and general information about everything?

OK. These constitute my harrassment comments. Now it is up to the rest
of you to continue the harrassment until he joins the KLARINET list.

Now I know Gerry. He will say, "But I don't know how to join. I am just
a simply country boy and it is too complicated." When he says that, grab
for your wallets.
