I attended a Master Class by Gervase de Peyer, and he shared a fantastic
G fingering - thumb, register key, first and third finger (left hand),
and first and third finger of the right hand with the Eb key. It's a
bit flatter than the "regular" G fingering, but since that one is sharp
on my R13, this new fingering is fantastic. It works for jumps, too.

Another good one for Ab is thumb, register, second and third finger of
the left hand, and first, second, and third finger of the right hand plus
the C# key (it works well to get a solid Ab in the second movement of
Weber's Second Concerto - you can even decrescendo to nothing if you want!).
