Sorry if this has already been posted; my computer is screwy -
I'm working on Prokofiev's Classical Symphony, which is all for A clarinet.
However, the prominent solo in the trio section of movement IV is a lot
easier if played on Bb, and it is transposed to Bb in the Bonade excerpt book.
Sergei only gave me about 5 measures to switch, which to pit musicians is a lot
,
- but it goes fast in 2/2 Molto vivace time. Anyone who has played this
piece - suggestions? We perform Feb 3
