What is any different about posting something that says I think the "x"
clarinet brand sucks. . .I played on 3 of them and they really stink.
Or, when others post information on clarinet ads saying their "x"
clarinet has the sweetest sound that you would want?

IMHO Neil and others have chosen to take a side. Others have been
offended by this. Better this than sit and watch all the OJ Simpson
trash on TV!!
