I have a shot-in-the-dark request for information. About 10 years ago I heard
a woodwind quintet
that I enjoyed greatly. Now I have a quintet of my own and I would like to
find the piece. The
problem is that I have very little information. It was a romantic era (or
romantic style) work
and the players said that the composer wrote very little other than this
quintet. The
composer's name began with a "T" and may have been Thompson or something
similar. Any of
this sound familiar?
