Make sure that the mouthpiece is open enough to "pop" the low C. Since
the reed was not designed to play notes that low, it can easily squawk.
An easy blowing mouhtpiece helps.

Also, check out slurring from low G to middle D down to low G (adding
register key and taking it away), as well as with other notes. Make sure
that going across the break is smooth, and also make sure that going
between high B and high C# works ok (don't forget to use the pinhole
on C#).

on all sizes of clarinet.
