Spaarnay appears in the film Last Date: Eric Dolphy by Hans Hylkema,
available on video as Rhapsody 9028. He talks about Eric's bass clarinet
playing and plays a transcription of one of Eric's performances of God
Bless the Child. This film also contains some nice examples of Eric playing
bass clarinet (along with alto and flute), such as the Stockholm session
and with Mingus in Oslo.
