Anthony Braxton has indeed played some wonderful things on the contra;
more recently the young sax wizard from Detroit, James Carter, who is
making alot of waves, has also developed quite a technique on the
contra. He can be heard on a cd of W. Harrison's Clarinet Ensemble.
