Subj: Is this a typo??

Here's a new subject with potential for longevity, once it starts
traveling on tangents...

I'm working on Arthur Benjamin's "Le Tombeau de Ravel" (my teacher
hasn't heard it yet -- it's still semester break).
I've identified two definite typographical errors, but there's two more
I'm not so sure about; the piano score provides no illumination.

(1) Page 2 (of the B. & H. edition), 18th measure of square 6:
Should the sixteenth notes be slurred, as they are the first time the
phrase occurs? Does anyone play them tongued? In the piano score, the
clarinet line is printed without the slur, but the viola line has the
slur. (Is this perhaps an example of how the two versions differ?)

(2) Page 8, 19th measure of square 24:
Is the Bb trilled to C# or C natural? I suspect the latter - you don't
see too many augmented second trills. Does anyone take it literally?
The piano score is notated identically for both clarinet and viola,
except for transposition, of course.
_______________

Then there's the very famous "typo" at the end of the Debussy. It seems
to me that the clarinet world is split 50/50 between the two versions.
My sheet music is twentysomething years old. Have any new editions come
out correcting it?
Undergraduates: What version are you being taught (D#/E natural or D
natural/Eb)?
Old-timers: Have you switched or kept the way you were taught?
