To bring back up a dead issue amidst all the Stoltzman/Shifrin talk. . .

A good, but limited book, for multiphonics for all woodwind instruments
is the text (with recording) by Bruno Bartolozzi.

This discusses a variety of approaches to 20c clarinet techniques. It
considers the different multiphonics you can get by adjusting the amount
of air pressure you use, the amount of reed you take in your mouth, etc.
I unfortunately could not get half of that stuff to work because it would
list a single fingering to produce [roughly] three different multiphonics
by adjusting the air speed, pressure, or mouthpiece intake. I personally
think that is stretching it.

But it is layed out to explain a certain technique for all four woodwind
instruments, which is interesting.
