Unless you compared Mozart to Kenny G, in which case Dan personally booted
you off the list, it's probably just an impersonal slap in the face from
the UNIX gods. Get used to it. They do this now and then.

Most likely, your mail system bounced some mail - the system was down or
your mail box was full - so the Listserv cut you off. That's a performance
and security precaution. If you'd ever been on a list where the bounced
messages get back to the group address then bounce again in an endless loop
you'd appreciate this feature.

To check your subscription status, send mail to:

LISTSERV%VCCSCENT.BITNET@-----.EDU
(or LISTSERV@-----.BITNET)

with the message:

QUERY KLARINET

If the reply shows "MAIL=NOMAIL", you can resume normal service by sending:

SET KLARINET MAIL

If the reply says you're not subscribed, just re-subscribe by sending:

SUB KLARINET
