First of all, since I work with record labels and distributors all the time,
I have to point out that Michelle White could not have gotten the Andrew
Marriner BMG recording of the Weber concerti from Polygram records. BMG and
Polygram are completely different competing distributors. I'm familiar with
the album in question, but can't remember off the top of my head whether it
was released on BMG or on Polygram. Polygram distributes the three major
labels Deutsche Grammophone, London, and Philips. BMG distributes ECM and
RCA (all permutations: red seal, gold seal, Great Performances, etc.), among
other major classical labels. Chances are you'll find the Marriner recording
on RCA.

Another EXCELLENT recording of all 3 Weber concerti on a single album (not
too many know of it): A french player named Paul Meyer (no relation to
Sabine) performs them on the Japanese Denon label with the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra, conducted by Gunther Herbig. It's a 1992 release, performed on
June 28-30, 1991. Check this one out if you can find it.
