Ok Guys,
This will be my final desperate attempt to get information on multiphonics
from here. If nobody helps I may have to... buy a book. I have no problem
with that it's just such a hassle. Thanks to all of you who have posted
names of sources. I will look into them. If anybody is feeling in a good
mood and wanting to give information to this poor clarinetist, it would be
greatly appreciated. On a happier note I have learned one of the fingerings
thanks to a nice person here on America On Line. I will post it so this list
(and it's archives) will have at least one fingering:
Finger high D (octave above staff) but WITHOUT the register key. Experiment
with different amounts of air. You will get a lower D (just below staff) and
other notes as well...creating the chordal sound. Also experiment by placing
less and then more mouthpiece in your mouth...and using different amounts of
lip pressure.
Good luck!

Well if anyone would post any others I would greatly appreciate it. (I'm so
crazy about this cause I just got a Dave Brubeck pre-Desmond album, with Bill
Smith on clarinet, he does multiphonics incredibly well.)

Mike
