I would like to a comment about the Buffet Elite. I have an Elite that I use
for playing ragtime, dixiland, and big band doubling and I do not have a
problem with projection. I use a crystal mouthpiece and a Vandoreen 5JB and
it works fine. I did notice that the projection was less with with narrower
opening mouthpieces. I particularly like the brillance, however, this could
be a draw back in a clarinet section with darker sounding instruments.
