Steve, DaBash (on AOL) et al.
Thanks much for the responses. Now my family really thinks I've flipped--
going around with exagerated "OOO's" and "EEE's" formed silently.

Yes I'm lucky in my teacher and also the fact that I work for myself out of
my house meaning that I have more flexability in my practice time than most
people. Steve, one thing I do is try to get the best books in whatever I'm
involved with so fortunately I've already got a copy of Stein's book, The
Art of Clarinet Playing. I was just wondering what the experience of
other's is out there. Obviously the piano can be played an almost
unlimited amount of time. And since I live with a cellist my impression is
that failing consentration is the major limitation to practice time there.
Again thanks to all replys-- STeve my 14 year old attended a chamber
music camp run by some people from your neck of the woods, the Roby's (I
think that's how they spell it). I think he's a conductor there. But I
can't say too much for him.
