After the discussions about "anti-lock breaks" and beverage holders for
clarinets, I began to do an inventory of my own clarinet playing needs.
I came to the conclusion that dual airbags are not a necessity because
every orchestra comes already equipped with them. And fortunately for us
they are generally located right in front of the clarinets. How convenient.
We needn't concern ourselves with suspensions because that is taken care of
in the music itself. I guess what I need is an instrument that handles
well under any conditions, is affordable, and doesn't have any nudie girls
on the mudflaps.
