I have an Ab/Eb key on my Selmer bass, and absolutely love it - makes
those Eb-to-Ab jumps on the bottom end actually possible! My hands are
mid-sized, and I can handle the reach just fine. When the day comes to
buy my own Bb/A set, I'll definitely be wanting that alternate key.
