According to what I wrote down about 8 years ago, I had that the Charles
Chedeville mouthpiece was the mouthpiece that wasn't quite as good as the
Henry.

So, I believe that the reason that the C was etched in front of
the H CHEDEVILLE, was to disguise it. Hence my former teacher thought he
was getting a dog of a mouthpiece, and had it sitting in a drawer for
many years before having a guy in Philadelpia reface it. I can only
remember that name was something like Don-jung Kim, as the person who
refaced his Chedeville? He is no longer in the US, but now playing in
some Korean Symphony.

Any details on this refacer. . .and the validity of differences of the
two Chedevilles. . .
