Maybe we are looking for a handicap (as per golf or bowling). And that
handicap is the mouthpiece...
Seriously, I agree with Clark Fobes's assessment of many mouthpiece makers.
I have found in using Hites, Ridenours (the old "noname" type), Gigliottis,
Pynes, and a few I have had a go with (using the olde Erick Brand kit), that,
given some time and some reed adjustments, one can adjust.
